• How do I keep my client details private?

    You can use the Access Manager (AM) system to restrict access to a specific client’s information. Once a client is ‘restricted’, you can assign which staff members in your practice can access the restricted client’s information.

    These steps commence once you have logged into AM:

    1. 

    Select Restricted clients from the left-hand menu. 

    The Restricted clients screen will display.  

    2.  

    On the Restricted clients screen, select: 

    • an agent number from the Agent number selection box 
    • the Add restricted client link 
     

    The Add restricted client screen is displayed. 

    3.  

    On the Add restricted client screen: 

    • select a client id or name from the available list, or 
    • search for the client by entering the client Id and/or name into the search fields. 

    Only unrestricted clients associated with the selected Agent number are displayed in the list. 

    The Confirm - Add restricted client screen is displayed. 

    4.  

    Select the Confirm button. 

    The Restricted clients screen will be displayed with a processed message and the newly restricted client will now appear in the restricted client list. 

    Manage who can access a restricted client

    These steps commence once you have logged into AM:

    Select Restricted clients from the left-hand menu. 

    The Restricted clients screen will display.  

     

    On the Restricted clients screen, select: 

    • an agent number from the Agent number selection box 
    • select a client id or name from the list of restricted clients displayed on the screen. 
     

    The Modify access to restricted client screen will display. 

    2. 

    • Select one or more credential holders from the Credential holders list. 
    • Select the Save button. 

    Greyed-out credential holders shown in the list have access to all restricted clients because they have the Access to all restricted clients permission selected.  

    The Restricted clients screen will be displayed with a processed message confirming the action taken.
