• Update client preferences

The electronic lodgment service (ELS) as a delivery preference is not available. The screens in the portal have not been updated to remove this option.

If you lodge using the practitioner lodgment service (PLS), the portal or Online services for agents then the delivery preference will be digital and the activity statement will be in the relevant system.

If you or your client lodge using paper, any electronic lodgment including revising an activity statement online will change the paper preference to digital.

The Update client preferences screen displays the delivery preference for each activity statement you are authorised to act on for the client. Other information displayed includes the main trading name and postal address for the role/account.

The activity statement delivery preference can be:

    • postal – a paper activity statement is sent to the postal address displayed
    • ELS – no longer in use
    • Electronic commerce interface (ECI) or the portal – the activity statement is available via ECI or the portal. ECI will be closing in December 2019.

Contact us for assistance if your client is unable to lodge electronically.

To add or update the postal address, select Client details in the left navigation bar.
