• Add client

    Information for using the Add client screen in the Tax Agent and BAS Agent Portals.

    To add an individual:

    • select the Individual radio button, and:
      • enter the identification number of the client for example, Australian business number (ABN)
      • select the relevant radio button to indicate which identification number has been entered
      • enter the legal first and surname of the individual
      • select male or female, and
      • enter the date of birth
    • select the Next button to continue.

    To add an entity other than an individual:

    • select the Other entities radio button, and:
      • enter the identification number of the client
      • select the relevant radio button to indicate which identification number has been entered (Tax Agent Portal Only), and
      • enter the legal name of the entity
    • select the Next button to continue.

    The client details entered must be the same as we have recorded on our systems. Refer to previous correspondence sent by us to check the client's details or Contact us if you are experiencing difficulties adding the client.
