You can add any of the following roles/accounts:

    • income tax
    • activity statement account/s
    • fringe benefits tax
    • excise account/s.

Selecting Income tax will provide authorisation to all roles, including the client's activity statement role.

If another registered tax or BAS agent (registered agent) has been authorised to represent the client for other roles, you will see their registered agent number (RAN) against that role in Client detailsTax agent details.

Confirm with your client before changing these authorisations and only nominate yourself for the roles your client has specifically asked you to undertake.

    To add another role/account:

    • choose the relevant role/account
    • enter the identification number for the role/account
      • The identification number may be pre-populated if you have been navigated from the Add client screen.
      • If you choose activity statement or excise account/s and want to add more than one, enter the three-digit client account number. Enter individual numbers separated by commas – for example, 001, 003, 010.
    •    select Next.
