    This screen displays the current registration details we have for your organisation and allows you to edit some of the details.

    On this screen

    • Check and confirm or edit the contact details – make sure the contact first name and last name are the names of the person in your organisation we should contact about this application
    • Choose the number of clients in your private ruling or objection from the drop-down list
    • Select Next.

    The Enter client information screen will be displayed.

    Editing the contact details

    Changes you make to information on this screen will not be used to update our official records. The information is used for this application only. You cannot edit the Tax agent firm name and Tax agent number information. All other details can be edited.

    Screen fields

    Contact first name 

    The first name of the person in your firm we should contact about this application.

    Contact last name 

    The last name of the person in your firm we should contact about this application.

    Contact phone 

    Only enter if different to the Tax agent phone number.

    Enter the phone number, including area code, of the person in your firm we should contact about this application.

    Contact address 

    The postal address we should use to send written communications about this application.

    Unless you advise otherwise, this is the address we will use to send the notice/s of the ruling or objection decision.

    If you require separate addresses for any clients in this application, you should attach a document setting out these addresses.

    Number of clients 

    Select the number of clients on this application from the drop-down list. The following screen will display the number of client detail entry fields – up to 10 – that you selected in this screen.

    If you select more than 10 clients, you will need to provide client details in an attached document.

    For a single objection or private ruling application to cover more than one client, the issues and circumstances must be identical for all clients.
