• How do I save and resume a draft activity statement?

    When you have partially completed your activity statement, follow these steps:

    1. Select the Save button to save a draft of this activity statement to your computer. The save operation can be performed from any screen where the Save button is displayed. The Complete activity statement – save activity statement screen will be displayed.
    2. Select the Save button to confirm that you want to save this activity statement and the Save as dialogue box will be displayed.
    3. Choose the name of the file and the location where the file will be saved on your computer. Select the Save button. Make sure you:
      • are familiar with the name and location of the stored file for future reference, and
      • save it as a .html file type.
       
    4. You can continue completing your activity statement in the Business Portal after saving a draft to your computer. You will be returned to the Complete activity statement – summary screen after you have completed the saving process.
    5. If you have logged out since saving a draft of your activity statement to your computer, you will need to open Windows Explorer to locate the saved html file. The Windows Explorer folder list will be displayed.
    6. You will need to locate the html file stored on your computer and open it. This will launch a browser session on your computer. The Continue in portal browser screen will be displayed.
    7. Your browser will display your saved html file. Select the Continue in portal button to be taken to the Business Portal Login screen.
    8. Once you have logged in to the Business Portal, you will be returned to the screen where you selected the Save button. The data you entered in the draft activity statement will be available to you. You can now continue completing your activity statement. You will be returned to the Complete activity statement – summary screen after you have completed the login process.
