• Private ruling and objection - further information - applicant details

    This screen displays the current registration and contact details the ATO has for your organisation. The details displayed on this screen differ depending on the reference type and number you entered on the Further information screen.

    On this screen

    If you entered a portal receipt number, examine the details displayed to determine whether they accurately reflect the original private ruling application or objection this further information submission relates to.

    If you entered an ATO reference number, you will need to confirm or edit the contact details.

    If the details are correct, select the Next button.

    The Further information – details screen will be displayed where you can enter or attach further information.

    Details entered on this screen will not be added to an ATO case. The details are used only for case identification and contact. If the reference number and your organisation’s details do not match an existing ATO case, you will be contacted.

    Editing the contact details

    You can edit all details except the Australian business number (ABN), legal/main name or reference number.

    Changes you make to your contact details on this screen will not update ATO official records. The contact information is used for this application only.

    Screen fields

    These fields relate to the person in your organisation we should contact about this application.

    These fields are only displayed if you entered an ATO reference number on the Further information screen.

    Contact first name

    First name only, for your contact person for the application.

    Contact last name

    Last name only, for the contact person.

    Contact phone

    Telephone number, including area code, of the contact person for this application.
