• Accessing our digital channels

To access our digital channels you’ll need a secure way to identify your business, using either Manage ABN Connections or an AUSkey.

Manage ABN Connections is where you connect an ABN to your personal myGov account. This allows business owners and nominated representatives to securely access online government services using their personal myGov login details. Manage ABN Connections is compatible with all browsers and mobile devices, giving you the flexibility to conduct business anytime, anywhere.

An AUSkey is a single key that identifies you, or the nominated representatives of your business, when engaging online with government agencies. You can use your AUSkey to complete your online transactions – for example, through the portals, Access manager, Standard Business Reporting, electronic commerce interface (ECI) and the Australian Business Register (ABR).

Connect your ABN to your myGov account via Manage ABN Connections.

    Register for an AUSkey

For more information about ensuring the security of your credentials, refer to the Best practices guide for the use of security credentials.

    Accessing the portal

The login screen is displayed when a request is made to access a secure ATO system. The ATO system will require you to nominate the security credential (either Manage ABN Connections or AUSkey) and enter a password associated with that credential.

Log in to the Business Portal.

    For more information, visit Login.

You will need to re-log in when your session has expired. A session is expired when a set period of time has elapsed since you last interacted with the system without logging out.

For more information, visit Session Timeout/Re-login.

This is achieved from within the system you are logged onto. Each ATO system may have its own method of exiting. Typically there will be a link that signifies the log out or exit function.

     For more information, visit Logout.
